Total Wine Coming to The Village at Allen

In September, the Allen City Council approved a permit authorizing the sale of beer, wine and liquor in the western portion of The Village at Allen near the Canine Commons dog park. While there may be other stores where you can get your preferred adult beverage, Total Wine offers an extremely wide variety. This will also be the first Total Wine in Allen, with the next closest location being in Plano.

More Focus on the Environment

The city of Allen has always had a focus on the environment, but now the city has taken it a step further! Instead of just throwing all your trash away in the same receptacle, the City of Allen Parks and Recreation Department will now be placing recycling bins right beside the trash cans in the new park at the intersection of Bray Central Drive and Ridgeview Drive so that people can take care of their trash responsibly and recycle.
