Located just four and a half miles from the Villas of Alto Vista, the Primrose School of Las Colinas offers more to pre-kindergarteners than most – more time in school and more time in the classroom. Seven hours is considered to be a full school day, and Primrose offers year-round, full time and part time child care, after school childcare and preschool.

The Sloan School is a Christian elementary school for children ages two through the fifth grade located only one mile from the Villas of Alto Vista. In addition to traditional school hours, The Sloan School offers after school and summer programs as well.

The Highlands School is a Catholic college preparatory school located just a mile west of the Villas of Alto Vista. Named as one of the “Top 50 Catholic Schools” in the U.S. by the Action Institute, this school accepts students from all religious backgrounds. Students in grades four through 12 follow the school’s gender-specific teaching program and attend class with their own gender. However, male and female students interact through extracurricular and student life activities.
