According to The Dallas Morning News, sources indicate the automotive giant, Toyota, is planning to move a significant portion of its U.S. headquarters to West Plano, which means it would locate an estimated 4,000 workers into the area. Hoping to purchase an office site in Legacy business park, the company is currently in negotiations that have been in the works for several months. With thousands of workers from sales, finance, marketing, engineering and product planning moving in along with their families, Plano is bound to see an incredible transformation very soon.
Nothing has been confirmed by the City of Plano, but for Toyota, this move will be a great way to reduce operation costs. However, Toyota is not the only big company settling down in Plano, Texas. Pizza Hut, J.C. Penney, HP, FedEx and Frito Lay are among some of the big names on the list. Thanks to all the big business coming to the area, Plano is experiencing amazing growth and it looks like it won’t be slowing down any time soon. This will mean an excellent source of funds for the city that will lead to better schools and other city establishments, as well as more new homes that can provide the convenience of living close to work.
